Kingsman Ventures and Smart Gain, in association with AURO University, organized a Surat Investors Summit on 1st December, 2018 to support startups from students and SMEs. The idea was to fund the good startups who can have ability to grow in future. There were six investors from Bangalore and Mumbai who were present in the Summit. A total of 65 startup ideas were submitted in the Summit for evaluation and funding by the investors. The Summit was inaugurated at AURO University in the presence of Prof. Avadhesh K Singh, Vice Chancellor, AURO Univ. and Chief Guest; Prof. Rohit Singh, Dean, AURO University, Sh. Ravin Sanghavi, CEO, Surati iLab; Sh. Sanjay Panjabi, Head-SGCCI Startup Cell; Sh. Kichu Krishnan, Coach and Director, Use Time;  Sh. Vishal Bhatt, Founder, Kingsman Group; Dr. Rupen Dinesh, Founder, Smart Gain and a host of investors. RJ Meet anchored the event. 
 
While the evaluation of innovative ideas was going on, the participants were engaged by experts and mentors from varied domains. The speakers who spoke on startups, innovation, entrepreneurship, international business, business structuring and compliance included  Ms Leela Gangappa, Career Success Coach, Youngovation; Mr Kashyap Pandya, Founder Director, Syncoro Ventures Pvt. Ltd.; Sh Manish Sharma, Product Development and Technology Head, Phillips; Sh Ashish Tiwari, Co-founder and CEO, Scalenetworks People Solutions LLP; Mr Sandeep Sharma, Head-AURO Innovation Centre; Sh. Divaspati Bhat, Coach and Mentor in OD, Change Management; and Ms. Shaili Kansara, CEO, Kingsman Solutions Pvt. Ltd. 
 
After a day-long evaluation, 7 ideas were selected by the investors. Out of these 7 ideas, three ideas were from SSIP (Student Startup and Innovation Policy) cell of AURO University. One student (Jay Dave) who was supported by the SSIP cell of AURO University got 1st Rank in Business Ideas. A team of two students of BBA-LLB integrated course (Yash Tailor and Simran Saraiya) got 4th Rank and another student of the same batch (Deepika Dave) got unique innovative idea award. These students presented a mix of ideas for the Gen next. They ranged from Virtual Reality to Travellers Comfort to Social Entrepreneurship. The rest four selected ideas were from SMEs and budding entrepreneurs who wish to work in Aerospace, service delivery improvements and making services accessible and affordable for middle class families. 
 
The selected projects will now be further supported for funding and growth by the investors.
